Packaging Identity and Custom Illustrations

I had the privilege of working with a passionate local perfumer in Denver who wanted to start an in house Perfume line called Aviara. Aviara’s mission was to elevate the experience of fragrance while simultaneously championing environmental conservation.

I was tasked to create an high end packaging design that not only reflected the elegance of the fragrance but also raise awareness about the decline of hummingbird populations in Colorado.

To bring this vision to life, I hand drew intricate patterns for the boxes, capturing the delicate forms and vibrant colors of local Denver hummingbirds. Each element was crafted to embody the grace and resilience of these remarkable creatures.

The color palette was carefully selected to mirror the iridescent hues found in nature, creating a visual narrative that speaks to both luxury and ecological mindfulness. Overall illustration serves as a canvas to honor the magnificence of hummingbirds, inviting customers to appreciate their beauty and the urgent need for conservation.

Throughout the creative process, I wanted to create a sophisticated aesthetic that remains connected to the natural world. By intertwining fragrance with conservation, Aviara not only delights the senses but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature.
