Custom Hand Drawn Wedding Illustrations & Design

I was commissioned to design and illustrate a unique wedding experience that celebrated the bride and groom's Indian and Moroccan heritage. The couple’s vision embraced a blend of traditions, and I wanted to honor both cultures while avoiding clichéd Indian and Moroccan motifs.

The idea was to create cohesive illustrations that reflected the warmth and richness of each culture, giving their wedding a distinctive and elegant touch.

Inspired by India’s artistic heritage and Morocco’s vibrant patterns, I drew from architectural motifs and intricate textures to craft a story that reflected the spirit of both cultures. I also had the honor of creating Indian-themed tarot cards inspired by the beauty of the Taj Mahal, designed for guests to write well-wishes on the back, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

Through various design iterations, I wanted to make sure that the hand-drawn patterns that would immerse guests in the wedding’s unique fusion of traditions. The final designs embody elegance, warmth, and cultural richness, capturing the essence of both Indian and Moroccan influences for an unforgettable celebration.
